フィードバックを提供するAlthough it may be slightly out of the way, this old tavern is definitely worth a visit. They have a fantastic variety of beers and the service is top notch. It's disappointing that the brewery is no longer on site, but it doesn't affect the quality of their ales. If you're a beer lover, this spot is a must-visit when in Sheffield.
The bartender engaged in unsanitary behavior by blowing his nose, wiping his face with his hand, picking his ears and teeth, without washing his hands all while working behind the bar. This was extremely disgusting and the customers were still served despite this.
The bar staff at this restaurant were incredibly rude. My group of 9 was having drinks and were reprimanded by the bartender for playing Christmas songs on our phones in a corner booth. The atmosphere was dull, especially considering it was December 9th. We are from Sheffield and frequent Kelham, which is usually a fantastic area for a night out. There is a way to communicate with customers without being disrespectful. Surprisingly, there were not many other patrons besides us seeking shelter from the storm. I would recommend avoiding this place.
Great selection of ale, particularly liked the Barnsley Bitter and the stout. If we hadn’t had a big lunch we’d have taken advantage of the pork pies, sausage rolls or bhajis!
Very good cask ale pub in Sheffield. Solid range of handpumps, simple but practical decor, and always a friendly face to the customer. Good atmosphere, too a place for getting to know other punters. The only thing I found disturbing was the prominent advertising for Warsteiner beer. As a German, I can confirm this is one of the worst examples of industrial **** among German beers kind of a German equivalent to Carling. Not to be missed on a pub crawl in the Kelham Island area.
