Cafe Equinox - Shawnee

The hotel is located in our favorite plant garden! Café Equinox Coffee is so good! Take a coffee and go around! We love walking around here! Very well for plants! The staff is super friendly and helpful! We would recommend this place to anyone who loves plants! You should stop here! Spring is the best time to see everything! Beautiful flowers! Cactus and succulents are really cool!

Amazing! We only enjoyed relaxing where they had exquisite seating in our cold drinks this hot summer day! I recommend the “Matcha Limeade” so amazingly straight beats! Very recommended!

Honestly, I love this concept of a coffee shop in a greenhouse, and I feel like this one has been well executed. There is now TONS of seating outside the front of the building and in the greenhouse. Also, the parking lot is amazing after the changes. Sadly though, the prices have jumped up, even from just a month ago. Not sure if it is due to shortages, inflation, or just Johnson County being Johnson County. It used to be a weekly go-to coffee spot for my lunch breaks, but a cold brew isn't worth $6 plus tip. If you are looking to splurge though, you should check it out...

Magnificent coffee shop, home decor, meeting work spaces, plants beyond, plus seasonal decor beyond expectations. Heated, covered greenhouse filled with nooks seating options exploding with creativity sheer beauty! Pics take you thru the front doors to coffee shop thru the tucked away seating options. Comfortable temperature here although it's in the 40s outside. Spectacular!

One of my favorite spots to go take a Iced Dirty Chai, with extra shot of espresso and oat milk; it is the best!!! With the plants to sit and write, do some study, it is amazing!!!! Best place to have a coffee and talk!!
