Casse-Croute Le Gourmand - Shawinigan

The Rustic Spud is a hidden gem on Bagot Streally close to Queen's campus! The inside is cozy with a casual atmosphere and great service.

I chose the Rustic Spud for a group outing after its praises were sung HIGHLY by someone I know.

We waited over an hour before the food arrived, but to be fair we had 12 people.

Great service, the poutine was delicious with plenty of cheese and sauce. They have an interesting menu, I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Shawinigan.

Best snack bar in Shawinigan. Very good poutine (I believe the gravy is homemade). Excellent service. The combo of fries and toasted hot dogs is the best in the region. We will definitely be going back.
