Fantastic customer service you can tell they really put a TON of love into the food it was A1! 10/10 flavor town ordered brisket sandwiches and slaw which is different but you gotta try it won’t regret. The sauces were all fire and unique as well! From Bama with love will be back!

I tried this place a few years ago as a food truck… I had no idea they opened up a brick and mortar storefront. I’m sure glad they did! Their brisket is absolutely amazing and the owner (he actually cooks it himself) takes a lot of pride in the meat he puts on your plate. I’ve been there 3 times in 2 weeks since I found the place and I take my coworkers with me each time. Same response from all… The vibe inside is unique and cool. The food is awesome and the employees actually talk to you! I Highly recommend this awesome spot!!!

Sitting here currently at this restaurant… And OMG!! The food is so bomb! Please don’t walk run here! The food, the service, the everything! Thank you for your wonderful service. Whenever I’m in Jacksonville, I’m definitely stopping here. BTW… I had the jerk chicken tacos with everything on it.

It's #TacoTuesday so you know what that means! I'm checking out another spot for some yummy tacos! Today's pick was The Butt Hutt Smokehouse. I grabbed the 2 tacos combo with a side. For my choice of protein I went with the Jerk Chicken and I picked Collard Greens with Brisket as my side item. Paired the meal off with an Orange Blossom Pilsner. The tacos were fantastic with great flavor and spice. I really liked the cilantro lime slaw they topped the tacos with as well. The collards were okay. Just not my preferred flavor palette. They had a bit of a sweetness to them, and I enjoy a more savory style collard. I did eat them all because they weren't bad, just not my preferred taste. This was my first visit to their brick and mortar location. I've ate at the truck a handful of times. I hope they stick around. I love that they have a bar inside with some good craft beers on hand and their outdoor patio seating is nice and large. So if you're craving some BBQ and the weather is nice, take a group of friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant since they have opened it. I’ve been to the food truck several times. The food didn’t disappoint at the restaurant. The service was very up to par and welcoming. The restaurant was also pretty clean and I like that they have a patio area. I got the fatty brisket sandwich with fried okra, the meat was so tender this was my fave. I also tried the ribs and chicken and they were good however the ribs were a little tough for my liking. The wings were juicy and tender with good flavor. I would most definitely recommend this spot for your next barbecue fix.
