The paisa tray lacks details to make it so, such as the arepa (it is very toasted), the tasteless beans and finally the very toasted pork rinds,The service is very good as is the atmosphere
Excellent food. Great place!! Great Service. Best Colombian food in town. I will certainly come back!!!
It used to be great until the owner lost his spirit and stopped the music on Saturdays. Unbelievably disappointed because it was our #1 restaurant and now we don't wanna come back. How sad....the owner is old and boring...I think it's the effect of the whole Jacksonville vibe. This place is seriously dead, there is
I visited today with my family (Sunday, around 6pm) we were excited to try this new Colombian restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, well decorated with murals with famous Colombian celebrities and their soccer team. We were seated promptly and were provided with a complimentary beef broth. We ordered 2 Badeja Paisas, a kids menus burger meal, and a chicken nuggets meal. The Bandeja paisas meats were old, greasy, and burnt (we did not eat the chorizo). The chicharon was extremely dry and burnt. I was afraid to eat the small piece of dry arepa (it could chip a tooth). Needless to say, the ONLY fresh item in our plates was a small piece of avocado, and a decorative flower ?? ? will not recommend nor look forward to visit. If you go, do not set high expectations on the food.
Supposedly they closed at 9:00 pm and I arrived at 8:00 pm and they signaled to me that it was already closed… What a shame to bring the bad customs of our countries here!
