Red Wagon - Shafter

I met the owner years ago at Costco, and I always stop by this place on my way north. Keep in mind that they have limited hours, so it's best to go early, but it's definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is a small red building located on the corner, so you might easily drive right past it.

What a great little breakfast/lunch place! Not only good food (homemade macaroni potato salad, soups and maize bread die! , but also a very friendly staff! Can't wait to go back!
