Octo π - Sewanee

The concept of this restaurant is fantastic, but the execution leaves much to be desired. We ordered three different pizzas, each priced at $12, so the total, including taxes and the standard 20% service charge, came to $65. Upon returning home, I discovered that the dough on two of the pizzas was undercooked, and the flavors were quite ordinary—not at all what I had hoped for. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but I don't think I'll be returning. I'm quite disappointed.

We went to Oktopi with a group of six, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. They also included a 20% gratuity on the bill, which we appreciated. Plus, it was happy hour, so we enjoyed a buy one, get one free offer on wine and beer. We will definitely return!

My first visit was fantastic! The atmosphere was lovely, and the cauliflower pizzas, especially the special and Cthulhu pizzas, were outstanding. The service was attentive, and the wine was delightful. It’s definitely worth the trip, and I’ll be returning soon!

I'm sure it's good food, but I felt kind of out of my element when I sat down to check the menu. We ordered wine and I had the stout that was good, but in all honesty we stood up and apologized for drinks.

We came with eight peeps. The wait was fifteen minutes. The staff swiveled chairs and it was pizza time! We pretty much ordered one of each and drinks and the meal was interesting. .. perfect. Seldom, if ever, have I seen pizza elicit so much conversation.
