Pane D'amore Artisan Bakery - Sequim

This is not a restaurant but a bakery. Goods are sold via counter/window. The goods are exclusively baked goods such as bread, croissants, American sweets, muffins etc. The quality of the goods is excellent. The quality of the service, mostly young students?? not particularly motivated and welcoming saleswomen! The prices: As a European who buys such products in France, Germany, Italy and Belgium, I have to say, incredibly expensive. But special. You should be able to treat yourself!

Incredibly rude employee. I stopped in this morning to buy 34 pastries. I got back to my car with the items and counted them and there was only 31. I went back with the boxes and said I was missing a few and without even looking inside the boxes the younger girl working there said with a tone that “everything on the receipt was in the boxes and that if I wanted to pay for more I could get more” I was kind and said there was 34 items on the receipt I was charged for and again said there is only 31 in the boxes. She then counted and realized there was a mistake and hastily shoved the missing 3 in a bag. She did not apologize for the mix up or for being rude and just handed me the boxes and the 3 that were missing. Super disappointing. I left a $25 tip and spent over $150 on pastries. This was my first time coming here and I likely won’t return. It’s a shame because this was for our weekly company snack day and I would have continued to purchase that much each week moving forward.

Oh Yeah !!!!! Try the lemon cake or the orange almond cake for a change. And grab a bag of macaroons to munch on the way to the ferry.

I'm fairly regular to popping in for bread and scones. The Oatey Oat bread and the Jalapeño cheddar scone are my favorite! Service is always friendly ?.Their sourdough (white or wheat) is always a staple as well. And the caraway rye makes the best grilled cheese!

Awesome bakery with great savory and sweet options . Had the vegetarian focaccia. Light fluffy fantastic! Reasonable price and all freshly baked.
