I had a caramel Macchiato and a white chocolate raspberry that were both phenomenal! It was not super crowded and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. They were good to check if we needed something else, and our server also told us a little of the house story. It was very interesting to learn how they had transformed the building, as well as all the original features they held intact. We talked to one of the managers on the way out and he encouraged us to come back. This is such a cool little jewel and I can't expect to go back. If you are looking for a nice, friendly cafe for a quick meeting, brunch or something in between, check them out definitely!
They have decent food, but it is kind of a hipster style place. Kind of like a Starbuck’s, where everyone is hanging out sipping their coffee and working on their laptops. The inside is separated into two different rooms. The outer room had a loud, crying baby, and some dude talking loud on his bluetooth, so I elected for the other room that had doors on it (I don’t think the crying baby and dude on bluetooth are there full time, so don’t let this influence your decision to visit). The room I chose was strangely quiet and full of college students sipping their coffee and doing homework on their laptops/tablets (Yes, kind of strange to see this many college students out in Selma, but it’s a true story). This room was so quiet and small, I almost felt like I was in a library and had to whisper when I talked. You walk up to the counter and order, and then they bring your food and drinks out to you when it’s ready. They have beer and wine but they don’t give it to you when you order. You have to wait for your beer or wine until they they bring your food out. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The chicken panini came out hot and fresh. The Summer Season Salad was VERY large and filling. Lot’s of nutritional greens on it, not just the lackluster iceberg lettuce you get in some salads. One note not all of the salads listed on their online menu are available. It’s good food and good service, but I’m just not into this whole hipster scene/vibe. If you can deal with the hipster/cafe scene, then check them out.
Super cute little cafe with great breakfast items all day along with other lunch dinner specials coffee selections. Both outdoor and indoor seating. Friendly staff and a real treasure off the highway!
This was a unique restaurant set in an old house. The service was good and the old house ambience was cool. Their breakfast menu was pretty good with a few options to choose from. The prices seemed a little high but the overall experience was good.
The coffee is served from a food truck conveniently located right on the highway, making it a fantastic stop for a quick coffee break and some fresh air. There are chairs set up under a tree for shade, as well as a grassy area to relax. I tried the Mandel Joy, which was tasty but a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I’ll ask for half the syrup pumps. The barista was friendly and clearly knowledgeable about coffee, making it a place worth visiting. It’s a charming, family-run coffee spot with a unique vibe!
