Matsu - Seattle

Go during happy hour ‍ it’s a great value, great service. Avoid the wings but everything else was great.

Three couples went out to eat at Matsu! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. We were quickly seated with our reservation. The server appeared to be serving multiple tables, service was slow and attention was lacking but he was pleasant. The noise level was very high. The mushroom gyoza was a high point: best ever. Sashimi was fine, portions were good. The roll ordered by my companion was not inspiring but inoffensive. I wouldn’t be inclined to return but others might have a good experience on a different night.

We are huge fans of Momiji and Umi. We chose to spend Valentine's Day at this restaurant and our server was exceptional! The service was truly the best we have ever experienced. We highly recommend coming here as the food was excellent, the happy hour prices are fantastic, and there is a larger selection compared to the other two sister restaurants. The interior is also stunning.
