Chutney's Queen Anne - Seattle

Visit this restaurant if you are looking for delicious food (even though there are not many options) or if you are on a date (as no one will bother you). The food was amazing, served quickly and hot, but the staff seemed to lose interest in customers once they had been served. We wanted to order a few more items along with the bill and felt like we were being ignored. We realized that the only way to get noticed was to get up and start leaving to show that there were people waiting to pay. Tip: Inform the staff if you plan to order more items so they pay attention to you and you don't have to wait too long.

The staff at this restaurant was very friendly. The okra dish we ordered was delicious. However, when our second dish arrived, which was a chicken tandoori with pureed vegetables, we were disappointed. The chicken was dry and seemed old. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she admitted they may have used leftover chicken from the previous day. Without hesitation, they removed the charge from our bill. I am reluctant to return as it seems the chef knew the chicken was old but tried to cover it up with sauce.

Great food at a reasonable price. Will definitely consider visiting again when in the area.

We told them we thought it was old chicken and had been precooked The waitress said they might have used chicken left over from the day before. With out asking they removed the charge from our bill. I am hesitant to give it a second try as the cook had to know that the chicken had been precooked and thought the sauce would cover it up.
