Philly's Phamous Steak Hoagie

I grew up visiting this restaurant, known for having one of the best cheesesteaks in the world. After 20 years, I finally returned, and it’s still open! I had a great experience there.

The building could definitely use some updates, but the rundown 80s vibe adds to the Jersey shore experience. As for the food, we tried the cheesesteaks loaded with onions, peppers, and mushrooms, along with an order of cheeseballs. The cheeseballs were surprisingly delicious—definitely something I wouldn’t indulge in more than occasionally. They were basically deep-fried bites of an unidentifiable cheese blend. The cheesesteaks, on the other hand, were fantastic! The bread, made from pizza dough, was the perfect combination of crispy and soft, creating a great pocket for that indulgent cheesy goodness. The prices were reasonable. This place is definitely a go-to for late-night cravings!

We always visit this place whenever we're in Seaside, and the cheesesteaks never fail to impress. They're served in a pita-style pocket and are not only delicious but also very filling. If you add a side of cheese fries, you’re definitely going to feel ready for a nap afterward. There’s a competing restaurant across the street, but our loyalty lies here.

This place seriously has the best cheesesteaks ever. I usually cant eat a whole sandwich but this place makes it possible. I also had the fried pickle chips which are phenomenal. But my suggestion would be to serve fried dill pickles slices also. I know they are very popular.

Best cheesesteaks in the world! I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I can honestly say I’d rather get a cheesesteak here then anywhere else I’ve ever been. Lot of memories here!
