Seaforth Country Store

This place is a bit of a drive from Dartmouth, but if you are looking for good fish and chips, at a reasonable price, this is well worth it. The fries are thinner than I like but they were done well and I enjoyed them. The fish were large pieces, lightly battered and cooked to perfection. They have other menu items which I would not hesitate to try based on my experience there.

Ice creams are huge....go for the ice cream not the food! Dinner was not a good experience. So bad all we could do was laugh!

Had Brunch (if you can calm it that) here today. Was reading all reviews and hmmm....I thought I should try this place for a brunch some day.......Boy did I make a mistake. This restaurant is disgusting ????. The dead flies are everywhere, don't think the floor has been swept this year. And the window sill had dead bugs and creepy crawlers. Now, the food....bland bland and bland the bacon was refried and congealed with grease, and sausage was deep fried. Everything tasted the same couldn't distinguish anything. If I could give minus 5 stars I would......my opinion someone should call the health department hmmmm maybe I will.See pictures....????

Awesome owner/operator/cook. Good food, ice cream, Fish Chips.

Sadly,I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the store. I am all about supporting local business but we went there to have supper. My daughter loves the poutine. I couldn't order any food for myself, I understand that the store is very busy but a good cleaning at least once a week would make the store more appealing.
