Just had the most awesome roast dinner cooked beautifully and topped off with sticky toffee pudding. Reminds me of Christmas Day. Staff and service, Awesome, extremely friendly and faultless, first time in the pub but certainly won’t be the last. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Watched the Coronation there, not the football.....

Perfect example of a traditional English pub. Friendly locals and loves dogs. Lots of football memorabilia from many teams. Great place to have a pint or 3.

Seven of us popped in on Sunday 02nd January after a ten mile circular hike. Friendly, welcoming and decent prices added bonus of a comedian sitting at the bar. Nice one. HNY.

The only place to go when you want a no nonsense pint. No kids, no cappuccinos, no poncey gastro food!!!! The last of a dying breed of pubs in this town. Go in there buy a drink and just sit down and enjoy what you won't get anywhere else around the town!!!!!
