Manuel's Mexican Cantina - Scottsdale

I've visited several Manuel's locations in the valley, and this one is by far the best. We sat in the bar area and discovered that they have live music from Wednesday to Saturday nights. My boyfriend tried the street tacos and absolutely loved them. I opted for the #1 combo, which includes a green chili burrito, a cheese enchilada, and beans — it was delicious. Our server was very friendly and made sure to check on us frequently. If I could give them more stars, I definitely would!

Locally Owned Mexican Restaurant Sometimes friendly service, inconsistent food (sometimes good, other times not so good)! Strong Margaritas! The Frozen Strawberry Margarita is my favorite! Just wish it would stay frozen until finished! They have a reallygood band that plays Wednesday-Saturday nights starting at 6:30pm in the bar area with a small dance floor where regulars enjoydancing swing, chacha, rumba , etc. Happy Hour is M-F 3-6 and Sat 11am-4pm with $5.50 for regular margaritas and $1 more forflavored! There?s a few food options on the HH Menu?I like the chicken taquitos, except when they?re not so good. ComplimentaryChips and Salsa are yummy! There?s a separate inside dining room and two outdoor patios right in front. Busy place. Plenty ofparking!

Amazing food. Been to plenty of Manuel's but I loved this location out of them all. Usually have the shredded beef enchiladas but felt like having a brunch so I ordered the steak Ranchero with eggs over medium and rice and beans, definitely hit the spot.Thankyou to my waitress at the bar that accommodated breakfast for me at 2 in the afternoon and the chef, it was delicious. Thereason my hubby and I will continue to come here.

I'm still trying to figure out those chile rellenos I had and why they were loaded with so much cheese, especially mozzarella. At times, it felt like I was eating a slice of pizza with how the cheese stretched! While it was tasty, in my experience with chile rellenos, there was just too much cheese. To be honest, I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. Next time, I suggest filling those with cotija cheese—it would make a huge difference, trust me. What I really loved about the place was the attentive and friendly waitstaff. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and I almost forgot to mention, they have live music too!

I'm from Mississippi, and we can't find authentic Mexican food like I just had. The service was excellent, thanks to our waitress Mayra. We also can't find genuine sopapillas back home, and these were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. The pricing for appetizers, drinks, entrees, and dessert averaged out nicely for our party of three.
