Mccutchen's Magnolia House - Scottsboro

Good Southern cooking. Our server was great, however the rest of the staff didn 't seem as welcoming. The wear and tear really shows unfortunately, as we noticed one of our chairs and a high chair we requested looked like they were falling apart, (screws weren 't fastened) so my wife sat our kid on her lap the entire meal. If you go for Lunch on Sundays, make sure your entire group goes up to get food at the same time or you might get an unexpected rush of people and then

We were on vacation and stopped in at the Unclaimed Baggage and one of the ladies in there told us about the place. The food was really good, people standing in line. The house was so cute and the people were supper nice and helpful, even though they were short handed.

Great staff and delicious food, has a quick walk up food counter buffet and a full menu for sit down options. Really cool old 1890 house with historic photos and decor. Really nice spot for a comfortable sit down

Creepy old beautiful house restaurant! I stopped here on a whim. Eat outside or inside in your choice of several old rooms. The food is all home made Southern and good lord I ate until I was sick. The waitresses are so kind and will tell you the stories of hauntings in the house if you ask!

Very good experience, beautiful rustic house turned into a family style restaurant. Pick a meat and pick your vegetables. The hamburger steak was extremely juicy and the real mashed potatoes had the right amount of seasoning. Lastly the strawberry butter was crazy delicious.
