Jack In The Box - Scotts Valley

As long-time residents of Scotts Valley, this was my first visit to this restaurant. After a quick meal at home on Sunday night, I decided to stop by for a change as I was coming from the other side of Highway 17. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a bacon burger from the value menu. In my opinion, the regular menu items are quite pricey for a fast-food place, but a friend assured me that they are of good quality and well-prepared. The restaurant followed all pandemic protocols, and I was glad to find it open for dine-in in the evening, while another fast-food option nearby was only operating for takeout as I walked by. The two items I ordered were excellent. However, the lighting at the end of the value menu area was dim, as you can see in the photo. I had to use my flashlight to read the menu, which was the only drawback of the experience.

It was a delightful surprise. The burger was fantastic, and the service was excellent.

Ideal for a quick meal, though surprisingly pricey for fast food. However, her chicken nuggets and chicken strips definitely make it worth it.
