Liming Time - Scorrier United Kingdom

Just ate here for the first time. Those Parmesan Garlic Wings were off the chain plus that cabbage. Ohhhh weee. I can't wait to taste their Caribbean menu next week.

Their curry chicken and wings are delicious!! Cabbage is amazing!!

A friend and I were looking for a new spot to try and support during the Rona, since we 've been patronizing local. Neither of us really thought anything sounded GOOD, but were pretty hungry. Called and placed an order, hung up at 12:20. They said 25 minutes, which surprised me for a burger and a dish that should have been batch cooked (curry chicken) and ready to plate up. Oh well, maybe they 're busy. We arrived about 5 minutes early, they were waiting on another customer so we hung out and enjoyed the poor ventilation that let us smell the food (it was delicious) and see the smoke, wafting from the kitchen. When we got to pay the cashier asked the chef on our time, it was now 12:50, so past the time we were given I just put down the salmon so it 'll be 8 minutes . Okay, not a HUGE deal, mistakes happen. But apparently that wasn 't the only mistake. I 'm not entirely sure what came next, but they definitely messed a few things up. The chef started apologizing, the cashier started cleaning out her wallet to get rid of the old gift cards she no longer needs, and the clock kept ticking. It was 1:15 when we left, and I was starving. I say all that, but I still give them 4 stars. I took bad pictures but Liming Time serves good food. My friend got the curry chicken with sides of mac and cheese and yardboy corn. The mac and cheese was soulful, baked, cheesy, goodness, the curry spicy (not hot, flavorful) and with a LOT of broth (so much so it leaked all out of the container... but they had wrapped the container in saran wrap before sending it out). The yardboy corn though should come with a warning, those are chunks of habaneros in there, it 's hot for real. I had the salmon burger with swiss cheese (you can choose a cheese and toppings) and grippos sauce . The burger was a little thin, but tasty from the flattop grill, and generously topped. Unfortunately the sauce didn 't really taste like grippos, it wasn 't bad, but it was more like a slightly spicy mayo. The bun though... that was a lackluster effort, like a dollar store chewy hamburger bun, not toasted. They make food fresh, they make good food, but they have a small crew (2 people BoH, 1 up front), and evidently lost a ticket. It happens, and I 'll be happy to give them another shot, but I 'll make sure I 'm not too hungry when I order next time.

I can't even finish this chicken curry it's bad I've been here about 4 times and it's 50/50 but this is the last time I can't waste $10 anymore cabbage burnt and curry nasty with dry chicken

I recommend highly! Delicious food courteous service an amazing experience! Roti on point, jerk chicken OMG! Generous portions full of flavor. I will be back.
