Mattenga's Pizzeria Schertz

This is a great pizza restaurant! The service is consistently good and quick. They offer gluten-free pizza, which is a real bonus, and you can customize your pizza to suit your taste preferences. For kids, they serve Stubborn Soda, which is free from artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, and made with Fair Trade cane sugar. Overall, the pizza here is some of the best I’ve had on the northeast side of the city.

I don't usually write reviews, but the food at this place is worth it. The pizza and wings are so delicious that I'll even eat the crust! It's a nice restaurant with excellent food. The wings are generous in size and not at all dry. I did have to ask for the ranch dressing for the wings, since it wasn't included with my order, but overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

We ordered the 20-inch supreme, and it was packed with toppings! It could have used a bit more sauce, but it was still one of the best pizzas in town. The staff was friendly, which is a plus, and the Schertz location is our favorite among all the places we've tried.

Friendly service, clean atmosphere. Lemon pepper wings were delicious, tad salty. Half and half order, Molto and Brisket. decent flavors, good crust, honest average pizza.

Happened to catch this gem when visiting the Walmart nearby and it was on the top of my restaurant searches. Haven't been here in a long time but am very pleased that it's just as good as I remember it. Always glad to support a local business, especially one that has great food at a great price. Also, weekend buffet!
