Sushiya - Schaumburg

I have been going here for about 15 years. I knew they had new owners and went to try it. The service was great and everyone was very polite and quick on refills. However, the food is just not the same. The ingredients were fresh and good; but, in my opinion do not expect the same as before. I also ordered the fried rice as usual. It seemed okay at the top of the bowl; but, once I stirred it I noticed how greasy it was. I was able to pour out at least a tablespoon of oil into a soy sauce dish. Please do your best to improve(or maybe it was an off day). I will not be coming back; but, I never want a local business to fail.

Ordered food to go and it’s horrible. Shrimp fried rice is popcorn shrimp and it smells bad. Food is going on the garbage where it belongs.

My fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with this place, we are both big fans of sushi and honestly this was some of the best sushi we’ve had and at a really decent price. Highly highly recommend!

Can’t recommend this place enough. High quality delicious sushi at a good price. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Everything I have ordered here over the years has tasted so good. I especially recommend the Hawaiian and Butterfly roll. They also give you Miso!

Sushi was so delicious, and the staff greeted us as we walked in. Everything was clean and we didn't wait long. The server was polite and helpful with addressing our food allergies. My friend and I brought our kids and the staff was happy to see them and interacted with them too. Over all a very exceptionally great experience. We will definitely come again.
