Thai 9 - Scarborough

The food was really amazing, was the first time I had experienced Thai food was gonna go with the pizza next door but glad I tried this. Just wanted to mention not only was the food tasty but I felt like the waitress went out of her way to make me feel welcome and made sure my meal was what I expected, both girls that I met had exceptional personalities and the hospitality was so nice. Thank you ??

I ordered dinner from this restaurant and realized that I didn’t receive any utensils. I called them to inquire about it, and before I could even explain my issue, the girl who answered the phone said they were about to close and hung up on me. I wanted to understand why I hadn’t received utensils with my order, but when I finally got a response, I was told they never provide utensils. What a disappointing answer! The dinner rush must have been hectic, but this is just unacceptable. Terrible customer service and a frustrating first experience. I won’t be coming back again.

I recently tried the calamari dish priced at $17, and I was quite disappointed with the portion size. There were barely five pieces of calamari, along with a few carrots and some candied greens. It wasn’t even enough to satisfy a small rabbit. If you're concerned about your budget, I wouldn’t consider this a wise investment.

The volcano is amazing! It is the perfect amount of sharp and crisp. You also have some of the best crab weapons around.? I strongly recommend stopping when you're in the area.

I ordered the Thai fried rice at a very spicy level and the crab rangoon which supposedly has real crab. I enjoyed the Thai fried rice. The crab rangoon did not have any crab in it. It only had a cream cheese mixture. The menu emphasizes how the crab rangoon has real crab in it, instead of, I'm assuming, imitation crab. It didn't have any crab in it which was very disappointing. This is why I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of 5. I hate dishonesty.
