Goathland Restaurant And Bar

We almost left Hogsmeat, not Hogsmeade, and Heartbreak, not Heartbeat, due to the frosty reception from the woman behind the bar. Despite her rude demeanor and reluctance to serve us, the pasty we ordered was delicious. Overall, the service was disappointing at this restaurant.

I was thrilled to finally visit the famous Heartbeat Inn pub for myself. The landlord greeted me and was very welcoming. He kindly showed me around and allowed me to take photos, which made me incredibly happy to be there.

What can I say that the other reviewers don’t. There’s nothing much positive about my visit. Food was incredible poor and over priced, staff were rude. It’s not somewhere I’d go again.

My wife's food Scampi salad and chips was very poor. The chips were dry and nearly cold and a minum of salad. (Over priced for what you get). We went over the road to (Inn on the Moor Hotel) for our dessert, totally different experience.

During our trip to Whitby, we stopped in Goathland with friends to enjoy lunch and show them the beauty of the area. However, we were disappointed by the unfriendly and clueless staff. The food was overpriced and underwhelming, and to make matters worse, we were charged twice for a drink we never received. It was a terrible experience, and I regret bringing my friends there. We will not be returning and I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could.
