Honored by a very accommodating lady who was very attentive. the menu looked good when a bit overpriced. we were all very disappointed by means of life. the chips were mediocre and much of the food was mediocre and overall unattractive. nothing went far away from the...Impression of fresh or remembered a good shrub. we all wanted us to have read the travel counsel reviews and have gone somewhere else.

Since seven days I haven't seen this place open! there was a sign that indicated that it would be open during the day, but I did not see any evidence.

The positive: cheerful and accommodating dame in booking. warm and friendly host who showed us on the table. Negative: for a family of five with each one softdrink we spent £79 and for that I do not think it is inappropriate to expect a decent meal, but we left feeling robbed! the young had the sampi that tasted ok, but was the same size as my daughter child part from another hotel in pickering and definitiw not enough to feed a teenager! after I had gone into the bar and asked if the sausages and yorkshire pudding came with sweet or maic (it was not) was told me that there was a lamb dinner in the offer. excellent we thought, but unfortunately we were disappointed. I have sent the hotel by email and hope they would make some improvements for future diners.

I would give this place a single star. in the ground, because it was actually open. closed on Friday at 2.30 a.m. the renter seemed pleasant enough, but the older lady was so rude that she gave me made me so uncomfortable. also has no atmosphere, whatever....You have taken the heart from heartbeat. Why change the name? we came back an extra day to go to the pub to find out that it was terrible. huge plastic screen around the bar. wide screen tw above the fireplace. we met a nice couple of those a photographer was and asked to make some photos 60s thema. we gave up at the end and went to the station with which was a completely different thema. so pleasant and beautiful. I wouldn't give it back! on another note noticed two other guests had bought what I thought to be a Sunday dinner. the lady left her. obviously not cooked to the house!

Had a family meal in the pub and very good quality , the ham egg and chips are a must. The staff accommodated us very well and did all they could to make our visit great. It was very busy at lunch time but they...got our food out in good time. Beer great. Covid rules in place and made us feel very safe. The tables are sanitised as are the chairs and masks when you walk about the building. Well done .
