Fratelli Village Pizzaria - Scarborough

My daughter made dinner reservations for 8 people for my birthday party with family. She spoke to a woman who claimed to be the manager. When she mentioned that the family had traveled from Campbellford to celebrate my birthday, the woman informed her that they do not take reservations and are usually very busy on weekends. She was quite dismissive and not pleasant at all. It seemed like they really didn't want us there! This was surprising to me, as I have brought many friends to this restaurant in the past and found the owner to be very welcoming and the food to be excellent. Unfortunately, as long as this manager is still employed there, we will not be returning due to their rude behavior. Food: 5 stars, Manager: 0 stars.

Great location. Great staff. Our waitress was beautiful (the one with the tattoo of her mother on the wrist). Atmosphere a little too "sterile" for my pleasure, but this is the personal taste. I ordered the warm goat cheese salad with chicken to be my main...going. The chicken with a piece of lemon was delivered unceremonially on a side plate along with my salad. The chicken breast was much too dry and could have been presented better if thinly cut and placed on the salad itself. Another possibility could be to have chicken legs. My husband had the Kalbsparmigiana that was fine. He felt that the meat was too thick before he preferred scaloppini. Again, a question of preference. When we come back, it'll be pizza for us as it was always good.

We decided to order takeout from this restaurant in Pickering, and it was definitely worth the short 15-minute drive. We were not disappointed with our orders of Chicken Parmigiano and spaghetti with tomato sauce. The chicken was juicy and thick, the bread and cheese were perfect, and the sauce was incredible. The thin crust Canadiana pizza was a pleasant surprise with real freshly cooked chicken and European bacon on top. All pizzas are cooked in a wood-burning stove imported from Italy. Don't forget to grab an authentic espresso before you leave. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

That was my first visit since 2019. With Covid limitations, the seat is 50% and therefore I felt very hurried. My pasta for more sauce. I had 1/3 of my pasta and had paved for a moment and the server... came over to my record... I still ate. While the food is good, wait until Kovid restrictions end.

I absolutely love the gourmet thin-crust pizza at this restaurant. I have tried half of the pizzas on the menu and they are all fantastic. Some of my favorites are the Funghi, Matteo, Popeye, and Canadian. The fried calamari is served with a delicious lemon cream dip, and the grilled vegetables taste homemade. The tiramisu in a cup was surprisingly delicious. I am committed to trying the entire menu by the end of 2020. The customer service is also very friendly.
