South Beach - SCALEA

I have been visiting Scalea for over 10 years now and gone to most of the Lidos but this is my favourite. Anna, Franco, Fabio, Louisa and little Franchie are now our friends. If you go here first you won't want to go to any of the others...and Anna's cooking is fantastic she'll make you the best Spaghetti Cozze you've ever had!!

This is a very typical Italian beach. Lots can be seen here . Beautiful waters , can be a bit rough sometimes. Lots of places to eat and drink . Not the best beach being its shingles but very clean . Very large beach . Here you will mingle with the locals

I have been visiting Scalea (sometimes twice a year) for over 10 years and have tried out most of the lidos...this one is the best. So friendly and helpful and Anna makes the best fusilli, limocello and spaghetti cozze in the world!!!!
