We had our best dinner in France last night. Everything was perfect, very reasonably priced and why we came to France. We personally thanked the chef after our meal. We have never thought of doing this in any restaurant back home in the US. Merci beaucoup!
Great small restaurant in the heart of Burgundy. The menu isn’t huge but very diverse with choice for everyone. The wine list is well chosen with a great mix of prices and appellations. The service is good and I got the impression they were a bit understaffed (Sunday night) but the servers/managers were all very nice and friendly. We ate outside on the terrace which is quiet and comfortable. The manager speaks excellent English but the menus are all in French. Poached eggs in wine/cream sauce was absolutely delicious. We shared the filet of beef which is a huge portion even for two and delicious. The veal was good and a large piece of meat. The risotto was ok with a little too much truffle. Desserts were also good hazelnut brownie with caramel sauce and ice cream was a standout. Dinner for 5 adults was 275 Euro with three bottles of wine.
A young, dynamic and professional team. Well prepared and tasty dishes... Seasonal asparagus with molded egg, huge tin) Café de Paris with its homemade fries and an original dessert with the best variation on the theme of apples and pears. Probably a good address.
Restaurant discovered tonight, recommended by the complete 428. The welcome was very pleasant, the warm and smiling service. The dishes served were delicious, well prepared. A choice of small inputs/plats/desserts, quality gage and preparation at home. We had a very good dinner at this young establishment in Savigny. Small dish: consider making the extraction of smoke/vapores/kitchen more effective to make the experiment in the room less olfactory. And that will be the fifth guarantee!
