Lovely place. I couldn't find it at first but when I did I was happy. The owner is a nice lady from India and she speaks English very well. The food is good for Laos. Obviously it's not the same as Indian food in India or Indian food in Canada. I had Lassi and it was perfect. Their naan isn't like a tandoori naan bc there isn't a tandoor but it was still good. I'd recommend you stop by. They also deliver! The prices are fair.
Mirchi has moved into a brand new remodeled location. This new place is much more spacious and beautifully decorated. The food was so delicious. I am glad the staff can speak some good English! Overall, a wonderful experience with some great friends here!
I thought food and service were both fine. The odd thing was I had the Butter Chicken, and as I was eating it I was thinking 'mmm, that 's an interesting flavor, what is it? '. You know what it was? Movie theater popcorn from the States, it taste 100% the exact same that. That left me both confused, and sad. I would go back, but just not order the Butter Chicken.
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala (K30k) and it was rich in taste but light on the chicken. The rice was cooked to perfection and generous. The naan bread (K10k) wasn't naan, it was more like Chapatti and had been cooked on a skilled rather than in a tandor (the staff assure me it was naan but I didn't make a big fuss). The ambience was completely lacking. Music was played but it felt like a ghost venue. I don't enjoy an establishment where one of the family or relative to the family, just sits and plays on his phone and doesn't help out, merely passing on requests to the staff.
