Bernie's Oyster House - Savannah

A hidden jewel! They are known for their oysters, but we had their shrimps Poboy and Club Sandwich that were delicious! Friendy a sevice and we were sitting right after we were told on the street that they had to wait a 2 hours! We also had to shake their t-shirts, suck me, eat me raw Bernies Oyster bar

This place is great. Amazing food l, Philly Steak and cheese is the BEST I had outside Jersey!!! Zara our waitress was top notch. Bernie’s is a 15 Put of 10

Cosy hole-in-the-wall decorated with as many tables as they could possibly immerse. We immediately have a table on arrival that is not easy along the river promenade. We both ordered grilled shrimps po'boy sandwiches. I ordered mine with her potato salad and our meals were really good. It seemed to be just a waitress, our whole area, Zara, and she was so busy. We had to ask her for some special drinks, but as I said, she was really busy. Kudos to her because she worked hard! Good service and our food came out pretty fast. would definitely eat again if in the area

Terrible service and stag atmosphere. The owners son is one of the rudest and unprofessional people I’ve ever met. Waited our time he asked us to wait for first come first serve, table was ready and he asked us to “ circle back for another 15-20 minutes until a different table was available “: stated he was “ the man “ and wanted us to leave and his family didn’t need our money after waiting the additional amount of time he asked us to wait. I was agitated and my kids were hungry- he said someone else will be happy to take your money. Glad we found better atmosphere AND better service at Tubby’s. You can at least get fresh air there on top of everything else that’s great

The oysters were too small, so I ordered a full dozen oysters, a total of 12 oysters. Regardless of the size, the actual order size is very different from the picture. For the services just so so.
