フィードバックを提供するI was on Sunday night. The Masala tea is good. For $4 you get a good amount. Momos are a disappointment. Please do not order! Samosas are also beautiful.
Masala chai and Vegetable Samosa is a must. In this SF weather with a hot Masala Chai was pure lucky mother are like a cabbage sabzi if you like North Indian style momos, don't take this)
I stumbled Sartaj once before switching off CoVid19 by Sausalito. It is a tiny cafe/restaurant that runs def family! This afternoon. Didn't eat yet. Found Caledonia street from memory. A lot of people eat outside in the locked pedestrian terraces on the street. Went inside to order chicken tikka masala. It comes with Basmati rice. Also order the almond shark tea that helps you. The donor was down, so there was only one mouthful or two chai. It took a long time to refill the donor. My food came and was delivered immediately. I have to say the food was not hot temperaturewise. Maybe it took some time to get out. Disappoint. Needed a little salt to bring out the taste of the tikka masala. The chicken carvings were dry: I added an additional $4 to get vegetables and naan. I wasn't so hungry. Passed. I really have to try this place if the restaurant's kitchen is not so overwhelmed. The food would probably be hot and taste good seasoned. Food: 3.5 star ambience: 3.5 star family effort to run this restaurant: 5 stars
Excellent Indian and Nepalese food. Nice little atmosphere where you can eat inside or out. Food is very flavorful and has been one of the top Indian restaurants we have been to. Highly recommended and reasonably priced.
I remember visiting this place in 2019 when i was visiting SF and we were there for a weekend in Sausalito. I still can relish the taste of aloo parantha they served us with absolute authentic Indian taste and flavor. found it a bit pricy but didn't get anything that close to Indian food since then in all my international travels. The ambience they had created was also very Desi, only good would be if they also served water for free like in India!
