Then the waitress kindly accepts that we change the table, because I hate to be back in the window. the unbridled arrival of a friend does not disturb, he joins us without difficulty. The most important: pizzas are very good, succulent tagliatelles and cheese plate is well provided. The room is full, but the waitress does not make anyone wait, the service is impeccable. Brava to all, it was very good.Henri, father and their friend, a kid.
We went to this pizzeria on a Sunday holiday. little possibilities elsewhere! very beautiful experience with a warm welcome, a careful service and excellent pizzas and pasta. service could be faster but it remains reasonable and everything is compensated by the value of the staff and the kindness of the staff. we had dinner in the patio in front of the restaurant and the air stream was nice after the hot day
I had spent a whole day visiting the area and we chose this spot due to convenience. When we are seated, we are seated right next to a couple. The tables were tightly arranged so it felt like we were sitting on top of them. I headed over to some empty tables at the other end of the patio and immediately I was told they have been reserved which I thought was strange as we were arriving to dinner at 9pm on a Sunday. But, fine, we stay at the table we were given. We order two pizzas and a small salad which is brought over with two slices of bread in a small bowl. The pizzas are unsliced so my 6 year-old daughter who at this point is starving, asks me to help her. I take a quick bite of my pizza, place it in the bread bowl next to my knife and fork and proceed to help my daughter with her pizza. I prepare my daughter's pizza and am about to finish my slice when the waitress comes over to tell me loudly that I'm using a bread bowl as a plate and I can't do that. I try to explain to her in my poor French that I was helping my daughter with her pizza. I also tell her she never got plates for us to use so I was just using what was available. She keeps repeating in French that its a bread bowl. I finally ask her for a plate and she refuses to bring one because there is a plate under the salad bowl. This is clearly not a plate to be used for dining at this point I just don't care anymore. Other diners are staring and I just had my night ruined. I think racism had a part to play with this service, I was the only Asian client in the restaurant and the only one that got scolded by the waitress. Shame on them because they ruined my otherwise lovely impression of the town. When we left, I noticed the tables on the far end remained empty. I might be back to visit the area, but am never coming back to this restaurant. Food was also meh. I've had better pizza and way better service.
The worse pizza I have ever had. Tasteless piece of bread with plastic like mozzarella and dry veggies. Honestly before visiting this place I never thought an oven baked pizza can ever taste bad. To add to this the service was poor, the main hostess/manager was not welcoming. Overall a bad experience and I would not recommend this place unless one wants to know how a pizza can taste bad!
Great pizzas to go. Staff always friendly and welcoming, you can ring ahead to order your favourite take away pizza. Cosy. bustling family run restaurant.
