Everyone talked back and forth, then someone asked the lady who poured a question. (I think her name was Carol) This became a long question and answer session and she could answer everything we asked! We thought we'd mute them to the last one, but she had an answer! We had so much fun and learned a lot!!
The wine is good, and they have a good selection. The sign outside says daily tastings, but when we were debating over which wine to get, I was surprised the shopkeeper didn't more readily suggest trying a sip from the open bottles they have behind a counter in the back until we asked. Once we tasted the difference between a couple, we even decided to buy both, but it was nice to know what we were getting since that's a perk of a shop like this. We might have bought even more had there been a better description of the offerings, I think. But still, the wine itself is superb and the shop is a pleasant respite when walking through town for the day.
We had a lovely time at the tasting room sampling the wine and enjoyed learning about them at the same time.
Great wine, great place and warm welcome! I highly recommend it!
What a cute and fun winery! We came here on a rainy Tuesday so we did not get to experience the outside but the staff was very friendly and the wines were SO GOOD. They have a sample tasting platter that is laid out very nicely. For 10 dollars you can try 7 wines which is a great deal. They have a ton of wines to choose from and all of them were very good. I would highly recommend this winery and come on a day when you can enjoy the beautiful vineyards while sipping wine:
