Original Joe's - Saskatoon

Wings were good, beer was good, service was not particularly good. Felt forgot about. Messed up bill. Needs improvement on the service side of things.

The service here has always been good, and we appreciate that we can take our celiac friends here, as they serve gluten free beer. The food is good, pretty standard pub type fare, but it's one of the best options for a meal and a drink in the north end of the city.

While trying to find a good burger and suds restaurant, someone from the area suggested we try Original Joes, it was a good choice!It was not busy in the dinner hour so we quickly got seated and served promptly. Our server was very helpful in suggesting a beer that we had a well enjoyed round of.Everyone one enjoyed their dinners, mine was the Kona burger with fries of course. Delicious juice and sauce dripping flavors through and through, great burger!

We often stop in at OJ's, mostly because my wife can't get enough of their French fries and dill dip. I would recommend getting a sharing plate of fries to munch on with your drinks while waiting for your entrees. We usually just get the drink specials, the house beer is decent. We also recently found out we could call and place orders for pickup. Also want to recommend the Kona burger. It has a teriyaki sauce and a pineapple slice, so sounds strange, but they compliment each other wonderfully.

Original Joe's is a good place for lunch but come early or you won't get a seat. It fills up early. The menu is varied and everything I've had has been good. The service is attentive and you get fed quickly and can leave quickly. If you want linger there are lots of tvs tuned to sports channels. The bar is nice and there is adequate parking. The place is always full at lunch time and tends to be noisy so talking is sometimes difficult. If you need a quick lunch in the north end be sure to give OJ a try.
