La Taqueria Mexicana - Saskatoon

Wow, what an amazing experience! This restaurant stands out from other Mexican places in the city, thanks to its authentic ingredients and recipes. The tacos de suadero and tacos al pastor were incredibly flavorful, with tender meat that wasn't greasy at all. My only minor complaint is that the tortillas could have been roasted a bit more. The tamale with mole was also delicious and soft, although it wasn't as fresh or fluffy as some I've had in the past. Overall, it was a fantastic meal! A bit on the pricey side, but then again, we are in Canada and not Mexico. Can't wait to go back!

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place to visit—skip Tacotime and Taco Bell. The food here is outstanding, with bold and delicious flavors that make it one of the best taquerías I have ever experienced! While it can be a bit on the pricey side, you truly get what you pay for: quality. The taco al pastor is expertly seasoned and is personally my favorite option. The taco de lengua is cooked to perfection and incredibly tender! My wife tried the chorizo taco, and although it is a bit oily, the flavor is definitely there. You can't go wrong with a visit here, especially if you're stopping by the market for some shopping.

Best Taco Spot in Saskatchewan if you are looking for authentic Mexican food that is different from the rest. I'd rather go here than anywhere. Super friendly staff, always greeting me and looking forward to my next return. Great options for gluten-free and vegetarian customers and always very interactive when explaining the menu, if necessary! Hours close early at about 3 usually if it is not summer yet highly recommended for any season.

This farmers market Taqueria is one of Saskatoon's biggest hidden gems. Super authentic, extremely tasty, and the service makes you feel like you're at home. The meat is spicy and flavourful, and their housemade sauces are absolutely premium. Also, if you need authentic crema, cotija, or queso fresco, this should be your first and only stop.
