フィードバックを提供するMy wife and I, americans who live in Germany, have gone twice in the month of March to this restaurant on a business street in sarreguemines. we came back after a wonderful lunch and wondered if a second lunch would be so good. yes, my wife was an Argentine bark truffle steak. it was cooked exactly as she ordered and came with a beautiful side of the vegetables and a blue cheese sauce. I had a bite, it was excellent. she also dessert, a plate of caramel ice cream mixed with crispy pieces of toffee. what I had at this second lunchtime I ordered the dorado and a deer of chicks. the snails came a slightly heated dish with six round indentations, one for each snail and its butter sauce. there was a kind of green coating on everyone that saw a little strange, but it made the chicks taste better than fine. my main course also came with a teller kartoffel that were obviously made home. I'm going to be really good now. the skin of the dorados was crunchy and under it the fish was cooked full, but wonderfully moist. the fish also came with a cream sauce that was made simple but expert and a great compliment for the fish. still something, under the fish was a magnificent pearl of sauteed leek. with it we had a small carafe of elsass pinot noir. when they only speak English, there was no person anywhere near fluid either day we were. that is to be expected as sarreguemine is near the French/German border, so the two languages spoken by most of the workers are spoken. also, as with most very good restaurants, it is very popular, so call them for reservation. When we came there shortly before midday, there were only a few other customers after everyone was occupied. maybe you gps will find the restaurant exactly, but ours have told us we were there, but it was nowhere to see. I drove another kilometer to rue gutenberg and found him. it's almost right across the street from a car dealer, I think, pugeot.
This place found while they thru titis stalls in france. the road down was closed to lunch and the next place was too far and we were hungry! it is definitiw a place of the native, but each smiled at the different group of Americans came. they appreciate that we tried our best in French, and the people who sit near us nodded well when we stumbled over the menu. when the waitress came, she explained our choices in very good English. they have a set menu on the top of the side, the steak, pommes, salat, a dessert plate to die and a cup French coffee for as among them also have a good chicken cordon blue. we go every time we make in france antiques. oh and they have a great wine selection!
Very good time to go to the Rendez-vous. the friendly and professional staff, despite the world we were very soon served what is more if you are in a hurry. The dishes, I took a pantyhose fries, very good little flat I asked for cream sauce (servi in a small ramequin) but it was a sauce not too creamy but rather all made so bof, there was a salad of the chef that was excellent, a salad of the poultry liver so very good, and a steack chopped cooking was what was requested. Ice desserts and a chcocolat marrow, it was good to squeeze damage to put an industrial English cream (too liquid to my taste). Good time with girlfriend
I'm going to lunch at the "rendez vous". very friendly staff too! delicious dishes and dessert too! 1st time I have you in a hot chocolate gourmet restaurant that has a lot more because usually we have the classic gourmet coffee!I highly recommend and I would go back with pleasure!
We booked on terrace for 3 adults and an infant. We ate well, the service was a little slow, but we weren't too busy. I tasted the shrimp skewers with the pasta, in gourmet coffee dessert. very good quality price.I recommend.
