A hole in the wall gem owned by a wonderfully cute husband and wife couple. Service is great and is taken care of solely by the wife. Warm and soft spoken and incredibly attentive to allergies and any dietary restrictions. Cooking is done by the hilarious husband and usually at least one more chef. Seriously though, husband and wife are a real power couple dishing out delicious and authentic Japanese food while providing the amazing service they do in a family run business that's been around for at least a decade (probably longer). I've dined here about 4 times now and so happened to come across it one day when I was around the area gourmet mushroom foraging with a buddy of mine. So pleasantly surprised and happy with both the food and service, I've returned again and again and plan to continue this trend. Forgot to take a picture of the oyakodon and curry pork katsudon , but they definitely deserve a mention amongst their other items that I've enjoyed here with friends. Everything is always delicious. Be sure to sign your name with a nice message for them on the wall, as many other patrons have decorated the majority of the walls and ceilings with as well.
