I only had to take one lover here for his birthday! they say that word of mouth is the best advertising." this picturesque, casual but full of personality restaurant holds its brand in the common. we were greeted with a friendly waitress who knew the menu very well. the service she provided was consistent and with a smile. the owner, jasper, greeted every customer, gave us a bit of history and is so up to the earth. I pampered in her signature mint mojito. it reminded me of the summer in alabama. (where I come from) I ordered the 3-course dinner of the restaurant week. I can't pick up a favorite meal. from the braided vernacular with cloth, maisbread biscuits to the incredible fried chicken. the experience is worth spreading the word how nostalgic I felt to the many palate pleasant taste I pampered while enjoying an unforgettable birthday dinner with my man. thanks for being part of our memory! I am looking forward to her weekend brunch!
At last an hattie’s. we went to dinner before a concert in caffe lena next door. we had no reservations, but we sat on a little eckish pretty fast. my wife and our youngest son (college junior.) love the atmosphere. it walked and enjoyed the back room (bar,) reminded me of new orleans. this place is real, the staff was all friendly and the eating was great. from the opening of maize bread/biscuits to the delicious roast chicken maize potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans. we're coming back.
The chicken sandwich and the candied bacon were really nice. The chicken and the waffles were fine, houseries were great. The mood of this place is great. Drinks are nice, cucumbers cool especially. The dishes are estimated with sufficient quantity for two persons.
Hattie’s call! My husband and I stopped Sunday brunch and I was nervous about the possible waiting time, but we sat right. The **** Mary was delicious, but surprisingly small for $11. I'd think $8 would make more sense for the small size. My husband had the chicken and waffles, I had the chicken with cheesy grottos and we shared a sequence of her biscuits. Yummy! I can't wait to go back to more. I want a way to have some sharp cheesy goose. The highlight was the staff. It felt collaborative. All I saw offered us help, asked if everything was fine and friendly. This includes the cook/owner! He took time from his busy Sunday morning service to personally check in every diner. This is a man who takes care of his food!
I had high expectations of a new dinner at Hattie’s with a group of friends Hattie’s not disappointed! Our hostess was very pleasant and attentive. Our table sat in front of the restaurant, but we had our eye on the back where we thought we could really enjoy the atmosphere. Our server, Killian, went up and beyond to move our table back on request. In fact, employees seem to work together so well. Our meals were delicious, and everyone had a great time. The birthday child has been treated with pecan pie and our servers have really respected all our needs. We were so impressed and will definitely be for more! Thanks Hattie’s, great for our trip
