The Ringling Grillroom - Sarasota

The food service are always excellent. Our waiter, Bob, was genial very attentive. Since we eat in the restaurant every time we visit the Ringling Museum (we're members, so it's usually every 2-3 months), we'd really love to see some new lunch dishes on the menu.

The crab cake was served with arugula and could be considered a small plate, sufficient food if one doesn't want a full dinner. My husband had the fish tacos, which were very good, and ordered the small house salad as a side course.

The service was a little slow at first, but the server arrived cheerful and attentive. This was our 2nd lunch at this location and the food did not disappoint. There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different and agreed our food not only tasted delicious but was plated very nicely. We'll return.

I ordered the G-Burger with French fries. The fries were inedible: dark brown to black in color. The burger was big enough for a meal, so I didn't complain about the fries. I downgraded for ambiance because the dining room was colder than it needed to be.

Excellent food! We enjoyed lunch after visiting the Guercino exhibit. Our server was accurate and efficient as well.
