Grand Cru Wine - Sarasota

We have visited this restaurant several times, both as a couple and with our families. After recently moving from NJ and spending the morning cleaning up after a hurricane, we decided to have lunch at Duval's (which we highly recommend) and stopped at the wine bar before heading home. Unfortunately, we were treated poorly and made to feel unwelcome, possibly because we were dressed casually. This experience was so negative that we do not plan to return to this establishment. Despite enjoying the ambiance and concept, we can only give it 2 stars due to the disappointing service. We suggest that the business adapts to the changing demographic. The response from the establishment was defensive and unprofessional, further cementing our decision not to return.

Great place. The ambiance is excellent. As you enter you see this beautiful high ceiling with ambient lighting. Really gives the place a cozy feel. The wine collection is second to none. They have done a good job by keeping in mind that a party of multiplepeople might have individuals that are not into wine, and there you go?.you have a nice array of beers on the tap. The firstset of taps are the wines!! They have some really good cheese and meat plates. I really loved the chorizo cuts. Ask for theolive tapenade. Great place overall. You can park at the city hall and take that short walk. There is street parking. Thereare some private lots but they tend to be overpriced.

This restaurant is definitely one of the top spots in the area. They offer self-serve wines on tap and the owners are very passionate about their work. If you haven't been yet, make sure to visit as soon as possible. It's truly an amazing experience.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant! We enjoyed a private wine tasting that we absolutely loved. The wines we tried were chosen specifically for our tastes and introduced us to new varieties. The overall ambiance was fantastic and we will definitely be returning in the future.
