Edy's Main Street - Sarasota

It is, by far…, the BEST restaurant we have been to since we have moved to Sarasota. I’m sad that we have just now experienced it! The food was SO FREAKING DELICIOUS! Beautiful presentation often hide’s mediocre quality… not here! Taste exceeded the lovely presentation! I can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing spot! We started with the sushi special of the night that was incredible. Next we had some ceviche that was even better. We shared a risotto seafood dish that was full of flavor and fresh clams, scallops and shrimp. Our server was great too! Highly recommend.

Lamb chops were the best I ever had...most diverse ceviche menu I have seen. Service was excellent. The place has a nice vib...outside and in.

Stopped into Selva for a work Dinner with two coworkers. We had a reservation for outside and minimal wait around 8pm. I ordered the scallops to go despite all the ceviche recommendations due to wanting it to keep for a later snack! They were well crusted however I felt the sweet potato 's were nothing special. For mains we ordered the fillet, pallea, and salmon. I honestly thing the seafood pallea had the best flavors within the rice. Seafood quality was good but could have used more in my opinion. Steak was cooked medium and served perfectly and seasoned spot on. Salmon was also cooked medium and fall apart. Crab on top was nicely oven finished. I subbed the rice for truffle risotto because I just love truffle. I think maybe that was a mistake, just felt a little underwhelmed by the flavor. Sauces were a nice add.We didn 't try dessert but an added bonus was getting a celebration tag at our table for a co-worker celebrating 15 years with our company!!

A top Sarasota restaurant! Delicious food with a quality that matches the beautiful presentation. Our server Brian was so knowledgeable- highly recommend asking for him on your next visit. Quality quantity quality!!!
