Demetrio's Pizza Grill - Sarasota

Demetrios Pizza Grill brings authentic Italian food to Florida. They have some of the best pizzas round and their baked ziti always meets the place. They have been in our neighborhood for over five years and support the community. If I go for pizza, they're one of the first restaurants I'm looking for.

I absolutely love this place! Parker provided us with excellent service. The toasted ravioli was delicious, and while we came for the pizza, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes available. The pizza was fantastic! I highly recommend it!

The food was delicious, and the drinks were enjoyable. The prices were reasonable. The dishes were served hot and at the right time. I don’t recall my waiter’s name, but I remember he recently moved to Florida from Ohio. His customer service was outstanding—definitely 5 stars!

For our main courses, my husband ordered a calzone, and I chose the pasta with meat sauce and meatballs. He raved about his calzone, saying it was flavorful with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. As for my pasta, it was phenomenal. I'm not usually a big pasta eater, but this dish blew me away. The sauce was unique, and the meatballs were incredibly moist and tender—not at all like what I've had at other Italian places. And the garlic bread? Oh my goodness, I could eat it all day long! Everything was a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny. Our drinks were constantly refilled before we even finished them, and they even offered us complimentary drinks. This restaurant is undoubtedly one of my favorites, and I will definitely be coming back!
