We found this place while we were looking for a sandwich spot on Yelp. We didn't want to see your typical mike jersey or mainstream place. We decided to support a small company instead. This place was great! The staff worked hard and they were nice. The food was fresh and the sandwiches came out in a proper time. If you're ever over in the area because we've found a good place to come back.

This place rocks! Friendly owner (a bit loud, but jovial). Also staff friendly. Clean place. Food was AMAZING and price was quite reasonable!! I went back twice while I visited Sept-Oct. I had the East County Native Sandwich... delicious!! They are not disappointed!!!

Best sandwiches in San Diego County. Top-notch ingredients, polite service. I'm not a huge sandwich eater, but looking for this place, instead of eating a sandwich once every 3-4 months, now it's once every 2-3 weeks. The breads are delicious. Even from you eat only half of the sandwich the other half remains extremely fresh, tasty and will not be soggy for the next day or two as left. The owner is a very nice and good man. You'll see he loves his business and runs a great store.

These are really amazing handmade sandwiches. I have tried about 80% of the sandwiches on the menu and I must say that each one of them is good and a handful of them is amazing! A little on the pricier side, but 100% worth the money every cent of it. I prefer a bit more for excellent quality and taste. I recommend this facility for lunch or everyday life. My only grip would be to bring the reward system back. I bought so many sandwiches there, it would be nice to be rewarded with a free one, every time in time.

First time at Sandwich Bags. I don't know why I've never heard of this place before since I've lived in Santee all my life. Owner said they'd been there 17 years. Basically, I've been missing out and so have you. Walked in and ordered the Ocho Cinco. It's a roast beef on toasted rye with chipotle sauce and pepper jack. A delicious, high quality deli, style sandwich. I think I'll just start going through their sandwich menu one at a time. Every sandwich looks good.
