Chai Waii Chinese Food - Santee

As a delivery driver, I have the opportunity to try Chinese food at various restaurants in San Diego. This place is definitely the best I have experienced so far. I highly recommend it.

I tried the boba at this place and it was fantastic! The price is actually more affordable compared to other boba spots in Santee. The cashier chatted with us while another lady prepared our drinks, and they were both very friendly!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted like family! The staff made us feel right at home and at ease. The boba drinks were an absolute hit.

Brought thier advertised lunch special $5.95 but if I paid her pay $6.95, then tried to sell a $2 eierroll and a $3 cup suppe. when I said no she g ot crazy and told me my special plate was not enough food and should order more! all I got back was an ice cream bowl boiled rice and a four ounce cups of broccoli chicken! on an 8 inch plate! and she told me that I had to eat outside because the internals were for families that spend more!

Ordered food there last night the fried rice was like it was preheated and overcooked tasted old. The food was not fresh the shrimp was overcooked and chewy.
