The tomato sauce that comes with a chile relleno tastes like it took days to simmer, the flavors are so balanced, mellow and unique, and the enchilada is a fabulous birria style shredded beef wrapped and grilled to perfect crispness in a homemade tortilla, topped with the right amt of shredded lettuce and generously topped with a cotilla dressing. The whole thing just works. And let's talk about the homemade tortillas. Mila presses them in front of you, and toasts them to warm perfection on the grill. It's the best tortilla I have ever had. I can't wait to come back for birria and fresh tortillas. If you're in the area, you'll want to make this place part of your food circuit.
4.25/5 stars I recommend it here if you can! Looks like a family-owned business traditional authentic taqueria. I had one of each: asada, el pastor, and beans paired with corona and lime. I enjoyed el pastor though it was saltier than expected, and the juices were boiling, so be careful because I burned my chin a bit (that was my bad). The beans were good. I'm not as big of a fan of the type of beef (beef chunk) they used for the asada. Focus on functionality over form! Friendly staff. I feel they must be a family because they were chatting happily in the kitchen. I don't think you need any frills in this type of environment.
Very good people and my quesibirrias very delicious
