Linked Vineyards - Santa Rosa

The Link family operates a beautiful vineyard and produces wonderful Knights Valley Cabernet. I've tasted and consumed multiple vintages; each of them drank beautifully while young while also having the potential to age well in the cellar. I recently attended the 2012 Vintage Linked Vineyards Release Party. It was hosted on the grounds of the vineyard which makes for great mountain views while sipping wine. A wood fired pizza oven produced a cornucopia of delicious Neapolitan style pizzas ranging from poblano/pineapple to more spicy sausage and cheese. I should have asked for a doggie bag to take home an extra serving of caprese salad that was made from fresh heirloom tomatoes! Linked only produces ~120 cases of wine per year so hurry if you'd like to try the amazing 2012 before it is gone! My understanding is that Linked only provides tastings with an advance reservation so call/email Jessica if you are heading to Knights Valley so you won't be disappointed. We just enjoyed a bottle of Linked Vineyards Cabernet with good friends...it certainly goes good with life!
