I would fly daily for this coffee. Nothing comes close.

I'm not a coffee connoisseur so just a plain a cup of coffee needs to be tasteful.. this was delicious

Pour-over coffee only. Fantastic coffee though! Lot's of different blends to choose from. Best coffee I've had in Santa Monica.

Ok WOW. Walked into this place with about 10 different people shout 'Hey! welcome to Philz! How 's your day going? Happy Wednesday! What 's up? Have you been here before? Nice shirt! ' This is already my kind of place. I was greeted by an adorable barista, Kate, who then walked me through the menu. This place has it all like a coffee lover 's wet dream. There are all types of beans, roasts, and blends, and the combinations are endless. Kate told me the most popular ones, along with their taste pallets, and the story of Phil (he sounds like a class A bad ass to me . Kate told me that the Mint Mojito was something I would enjoy, and that it would be a refreshing treat to this hot SaMo afternoon. I watched her delicately pick the mint leaves, muddle them with some sweet brown sugar, pour some fresh cream on top, and then add their secret iced coffee blend. She told me to taste it to make sure it was perfect before I paid WHAT?! Who does that?! Kate does... Phil does... Anyway, this place is a bullseye if you 're a coffee lover like me. Head in there, ask for Kate 's recommendation, and I 'm sure you will not be disappointed. Thanks Phiz :
