Owner even called back after we’d resolved just to have the final word and hang up on us again. One of the most surreal experiences I’ve ever had and left us all feeling gaslit- I’ve never had a restaurant do that before
Rita's is 5stars when you want authentic Indian food. Most Indian restaurants use frozen ready made Currys and combine meats produce and spices to give it a fresher taste. Rita's style combines fresher add inns and spices that give it a very unique taste a distinct authentic flavor and overall experience she said she will beat any other local restaurant in taste ...I live in Florida and I'm back at Rita's....must be good or I wouldn't be here writing a review. Thank you. Again see ya soon.Vegetarian options: Wide range of veg options you don't have to be a vegetarian you can still eat a good veg meal even if u usually eat meat and still enjoy it with out meat.
Ordered the chicken briyani. Waited for quite some time even though there was not many guests. Taste is acceptable but definitely not the best. It was too oily for me and the ingredients used remind me of fried rice. Chicken meat chunks were used instead of chicken pieces.Vegetarian options: You can opt for vegetarian briyani
Average Indian restaurant in Santa Monica. Vibes were very traditional, cozy, and the aroma was filled with spices. The chicken tikka had quite a large portion but was extremely expensive $26). It was also on the sweeter side which some may or may not prefer. Service was a bit slower even when restaurant was practically empty; would recommend going if you have money to spend. However, the food was very good overall.
This place was recommended to me by a friend, went in the afternoon on a week day and it was quiet, which I loved. The service was like family and the food was AMAZING. I loved the coconut chicken curry and the garlic naan. If I lived close by, I’d get take out for dinner every night, or dine in! They have high chairs for little ones too, totally family friendly. Also, the music was relaxing. You must eat here at least once during your visit!
