Fritto Misto - Santa Monica

The pasta here is incredibly delicious! They serve it alongside warm, crusty bread, which is a perfect complement. I was really hungry, and this meal reminded me of the fantastic food I had in France. First-time visitors are in for a delightful surprise. The atmosphere is great, too! Be sure to try the ginger beer—it's spicy yet refreshing!

It was a Wednesday afternoon, so finding a seat was no issue; the terrace was empty, which was ideal for me, but I hope they fill up in the evenings and on weekends! All the staff I encountered were efficient and friendly, and the manager or owner was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, my experience was fantastic!

Shrimp ravioli was great! Atomic Pasta had absolutely no taste, only heat. Tiramisu was really good! The Italian old fashion was fine and the hibiki Japanese whisky was good! Wide range of liqueurs/drink options. The customer was fine.

As for the pasta, the noodles had a nice texture, but the sauces were quite bland and lacked depth. One silver lining is that the portions are generous, easily enough to serve two per entrée. In the end, this Italian restaurant shows significant potential due to its fast and friendly service, but it seems to rely too heavily on its prime location to compensate for its mediocre flavors. Be prepared to spend around $45-50 per person. I'm sorry to say I left feeling dissatisfied.

Service was great and food was delicious. The outside pics I see here seem to be from the old location. Several people recommended this place and it did not disappoint-yum. Large portions and a lot of flavor. Only minus would be ladies bathroom, it was pretty torn up literally. Will definitely be back. Lots of vegetarian options too.
