Terraza La Era

Not even worth the 1 star except you have to give a rating to leave a review. Staff just didn't give a hoot they were handing out food that was uncooked and couldn't care less to help you return it with any sort of grace or give a factor to the fact the quality was just a complete poor attempt. Hamburger was raw with top and bottom fried on toasted bun that must have been around for a week as it was harder then a hockey puck. Sad part was the one staff guy had made an effort to ask how I would have liked it cooked originally the chef just did not produce anything edible. Take away from front end staff attitude was we have our hands tied and are just not paid enough to care or fight for you customer. I had company with me so I took the courteous bite to see if it was edible. That bite went into a serviette. Got sucked in by the nice Terrace, WiFi and the fact they had Grenadine available to add to Coca Cola on a hot day except you can get this service most places with a view and stocked bar. Really it was the Staffs not Give a Hoot (that's a polite word for the censors) that totally made this place garner the effort to leave a suck it review. Probably the worst eat out experience in the Canaries in a long time. Plus it was a mad expensive price for a hamburger in comparison to local prices so to mess it up this badly takes effort. If you are in the town the Terrace is in a nice spot. The locals seem to enjoy drinking there. Seriously though you'd be better off to go gambling at one of the many Casinos where the staff may offer you a drink on the house which is what we did really as the city is just one of those lacking for anything touristic to mount a stop longer then a few hours! This was edited 4 plus time to remove profanity to an acceptable level

Wonderful street cafe/restaurant, that serves tasty food with a smile! The waiters are so nice and friendly that you feel like in a gourmet restaurant, although the prices are totally compatible to the neighbor restaurants. The building itself is very cosy, and has a big terrace. The food is excellent quality, very innovative and stands out of the mass.

Lots of people come here for a snack or just a drink. It's a nice place, with glass walls which can be opened. Waiters are very friendly and after a few visits, they really treat you as friends.

La terraza es muy acogedora y el ambiente es muy bueno. Fuimos unos amigos a tomar algo y nos atendieron muy bien, el personal es muy amable y atento. Si buscas un sitio para quedar con tus amigos y pasar un buen rato, sin dudarlo éste es tu sitio.
