While the jazz band was fantastic, the food was disappointing—cold and mediocre at best. Another surprise was that tips for the servers were based solely on the drinks purchased, not the food. I made sure to give our server a significantly larger tip to acknowledge his efforts. There seems to be quite a bit of attitude from the owner and her daughter, especially considering the steep prices for just average food. Next time, we’ll seek out great jazz at a different venue. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. UPDATE: They have since refunded our tickets to the show, which I find to be very generous. I truly appreciate their responsiveness.

We had an incredible and exciting experience. This is more than just a cooking demonstration; it’s an enlightening journey into the history of the ingredients used. The lunch was delicious, awakening our taste buds and leaving us wanting more. The staff was fantastic and exceptionally welcoming. The culinary shop added an extra thrill, allowing us to take home some of the ingredients we enjoyed. We highly recommend participating in one of their classes!

I cannot recommend Nicole and her team highly enough, whether you're interested in taking a class or arranging a large group buyout for a customized experience like we did last month. Working with Nicole was a pleasure from beginning to end, and the class itself was equally enjoyable and engaging. The instruction was outstanding, providing valuable tips even for our experienced home cooks, and the quality of the dishes we prepared was excellent. We all agreed that we would love to recreate any of the recipes at home. Nicole also offered fantastic suggestions for food products from the shop, which were a hit with everyone. Her knowledge and instincts are truly impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend the Santa Fe School of Cooking.

Additionally, I noticed that unlike other cooking classes I've attended—many of which include a complimentary glass of wine during the meal—this one did not. Considering the price we paid, I felt this was a bit stingy. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

I took my husband and adult daughter to a demonstration class while visiting the area. We received a warm welcome and had some time to browse the shops, which offered wonderful local products. After that, we were led to the demonstration area. The seating was comfortable, and we had a great view of everything the chef was doing. Our chef was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing not just cooking tips but also plenty of interesting information about the local area. The recipes were easy to follow, and we felt confident we could recreate them at home. We had a fantastic time, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this experience and would definitely do it again.
