フィードバックを提供するI visited Paloma for the first time and I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area. Everything was truly exceptional, and the atmosphere was very inviting. The outdoor patio is fantastic!
The only redeeming part of my meal was the sushi appetizer. Two of us ordered the grilled sea bass, but it was so tough that we had to use a knife to cut it. The rice was dry and flavorless. The Paloma tasted like flavored water. I had made a reservation for four, yet they seated three of us at a table meant for two. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Our waitress was far from attentive or friendly; it felt as though we were an inconvenience to her. Despite our long wait, there was no acknowledgment or even an offer of drinks to celebrate the occasion. When our drinks arrived, I discovered that my glass had a crack in it, hidden under the salt rim, which resulted in a cut on my lip. The food, overall, was bland, but the steak fajitas stood out as particularly disappointing—overcooked and lacking flavor. I tried a different second drink that was so sour I couldn’t finish it. Throughout our meal, no one checked in on us, even though we didn't finish our food or drinks. We decided to skip dessert, fearing what other mishaps might occur. While I expected to pay for the uneaten food, I was also charged for the drink served in the broken glass. After this experience, I wouldn't return to Paloma for any occasion, especially not for a birthday celebration that was anticipated with excitement. It was an immense letdown.
Paloma was a terrific experience. From the food to the service- all was first-rate.
The menu is very much abbreviated which I understand with Covid, but the last time i was there two years ago there were many more choices. I would’ve been more comfortable if the tables were a little farther apart
