I tried the bourbon pecan and the rose flavors (the rose was subtly light). The elixir was also fantastic - rich and chocolatey with a hint of orange water. My daughter had some ice cream and said it ranked second to her hometown favorite. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this place.
We absolutely adored this charming little store! The chocolate elixirs were divine (the best we've ever tasted) and the owner was extremely hospitable and generous. He even took the time to give my kids a tour of the kitchen and show them how the truffles are made. We also loved sampling the chocolate covered chilies. This will definitely be a must-visit for us every time we are in Santa Fe.
The highlight of our afternoon in Santa Fe was this charming little shop where we found a variety of drinking chocolate elixirs and truffles. They also offer organic ice creams. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and ambiance of the place. Definitely a must-visit!
I loved the organic sea salt ice cream with hot fudge and whipped cream! I also liked the Jeffersonian elixir. I tried the Mayan elixir but it was a little spicy for my taste. This is a unique chocolate shop and I highly recommend a visit.
LOVED this darling little shop when I was in Santa Fe in January. I enjoyed the chocolate elixir with chili in it talk about an explosion of taste in that tiny little cup. My boyfriend had their organic ice cream, and we both shared a chocolate dipped chile pepper. HOT but positively addictive. The service was top notch, too, with the most charming young lady behind the counter. I've shared this experience on my website about chocolate and will definitely visit again. (I'm still dreaming about those chile peppers. :
